7 day adventure tour full board, tourguide, 4×4 transport, airport transfer, 3 freshly cooked meals + snacks/ day, purified water, coffee, tea, soft drinks, camping gear: double tent for single use (we provide bigger tents for couples that we pitch and fold for you), all camping equipment (mattress, bed sheets, pillow, pillow cover and blanket, so you only need to bring your personal belongings, all entry fees for locations, boatcruise and memories for a lifetime.

Booking information

We arrange your flight reservations. After confirmation you can book your flights directly with Emirates Aviation Services. We provide you with all the details (no extra administration costs).

You can pay the tour cost cash upon your arrival day. USD with issued before 2009 are not acceptable on Socotra. In Addition, Socotra has limited banking facilities and the few ATM’s usually don’t work.

ENTRY VISA: All travelers to Socotra must obtain a special Yemeni visa, which is valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Socotra Essence Expedition is an licensed company and we will simplifies the visa process for you by providing us a copy of your passport. You will receive the visa document two weeks before your departure.

Abu Dhabi stay

We highly suggest arriving a day or two at Abu Dhabi in advance to get acclimated with the time zone as well as to rest. (You could explore Abu Dhabi or Dubai while you wait.) Tuesday morning you hop on the government ran flight from Abu Dhabi.
